Meet Your Pelvic Floor Physio, Michelle.

Michelle Holmes (she/her) is a Physiotherapist specialising in Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy.

Michelle’s interest in pelvic health began early in her career, leading her down the pathway of attaining her Master’s in Physiotherapy and embarking on her Master’s in Continence and Pelvic Health at Curtin University. Her combined qualifications in Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy and postgraduate training in Pelvic Health means that she has a broad range of knowledge and skills to offer her patients.

Her passion is treating women during their pregnancy and postpartum journey’s, with a particular interest in helping women return to high-intensity exercise after birth.

Michelle’s expertise is helping both men and women with the management of bladder and bowel dysfunction, pelvic pain, prolapse and incontinence, as well as care pre and post surgery (gynaecological and prostatectomy).

Michelle feels strongly about providing compassionate and individualised patient-centred care to help her patients achieve their health and rehabilitation goals. Her enthusiasm toward helping each patient on their journey to recovery means each patient feels supported, cared for and understood.

Michelle is passionate about staying up to date with the latest evidence in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy to deliver the highest quality evidence-based care to her patients.

She is a long-term member of the Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) Professional Development Panel, dedicated to reviewing professional development opportunities in Women’s Health for Accredited Exercise Physiologists in Australia.
